About us
Busoga Trust is a charity that constructs wells, boreholes, latrines & washrooms in the Busoga Region & Luwero District of Uganda.
Working with local communities, we get the spades in and do the work on the ground, finding local solutions to local problems. We also run hygiene and sanitation trainings and menstrual hygiene management workshops for women and girls.
In 2019, we impacted 94,200 people with the transformational benefits of clean water and good hygiene and sanitation. We constructed 26 new wells, 6 new boreholes, and rehabilitated 152 water sources that were in a state of disrepair.
